The automatic protection device comprises a supporting piece, a cover turning assembly and a pushing assembly, a rotating shaft is arranged at the upper end of the supporting piece, and the lower end of the supporting piece is used for being connected with the vibration reduction sleeper; the flip cover assembly is arranged on the rotating shaft; the pushing assembly is arranged on the right side of the cover overturning assembly, the lower end of the pushing assembly is used for being connected with sports equipment, and when the pushing assembly moves leftwards and abuts against the left end of the cover overturning assembly, the cover overturning assembly rotates reversely to avoid collision. When the pushing assembly moves rightwards to release the left end of the flip assembly, the flip assembly rotates forwards to cover the end, close to the sports equipment, of the damping sleeper. The automatic protection device adopts an ingenious rotatable structure, is simple in structure and convenient to mount, and ensures the protection effect of the protection plate on the vibration reduction sleeper while the service life of the protection plate is not influenced.
