The invention relates to the technical field of ecological river channels, in particular to an ecological hydrophilic river channel structure and a construction method thereof.The ecological hydrophilic river channel structure comprises a slope protection embankment, a bank slope arranged above the slope protection embankment along a river bank and an asphalt road arranged at the top of the bank slope, and the slope protection embankment comprises a foundation laid at the bottom of a river channel and a reinforcing embankment arranged on the foundation; a filter cavity is arranged close to the outer side in the dike dam, and the filter cavity is divided into a water tank in the middle and backflow tanks on the left side and the right side by arranging two division plates which are symmetrical left and right in the filter cavity; a filtering assembly is arranged in the dike dam and comprises a water inlet pipe used for allowing river surface water to flow into the filtering cavity, a driving structure used for driving river water in the filtering cavity to flow and two water outlet pipes used for discharging the river water. According to the hydrophilic river channel, by arranging the filtering assembly, garbage floating on the river surface can be cleaned, the ecological environment in the river channel is guaranteed, and ecological pollution is reduced.
