The invention provides mortar capable of purifying water. The mortar is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 100-350 parts of ordinary Portland cement, 600-800 parts of aggregate with a multilayer structure, 20-30 parts of filler, 5-20 parts of activated carbon, 3-10 parts of powdery alum and 1-10 parts of a plant antibacterial agent, and 0.5-3 parts of an additive. The universal stone, the medical stone, the corallite and the zeolite are composed of a plurality of layered structures and can absorb and decompose dirt and chemical substances in the pool. The activated carbon adsorbs harmful substances such as fine mixtures, organic compounds and microbial residues in water in the mortar, so that the hardness of water is reduced. Powdery alum can be used for polymerizing and adsorbing fine impurities in water; the plant antibacterial agent is combined, so that the effects of deodorization, sterilization, microbial breeding resistance and the like are achieved. The mortar prepared from materials capable of purifying water quality, such as multilayer aggregate, activated carbon, alum and a plant antibacterial agent according to a certain proportion can improve the water quality of a building water storage project.
