The porous ceramic with the gradient pore structure is characterized in that ceramic raw materials comprise ceramic powder and an organic solvent, the ceramic powder comprises, by weight, 45-75 parts of ceramic aggregate, 10-35 parts of a binder, 10-30 parts of a pore forming agent and 1-8 parts of a foaming agent, the ceramic aggregate comprises silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride and calcium oxide, and the organic solvent is an organic solvent. At least one of diatomaceous earth; the binder comprises glass powder; the average particle size of the pore-forming agent is 20-100 [mu] m; the foaming agent comprises at least one of sodium bicarbonate, diphenyl sulfonyl hydrazide ether, p-toluenesulfonyl hydrazide and azodiisobutyronitrile; the weight ratio of the organic solvent to the ceramic powder is (23: 100)-(60: 100). A certain amount of the pore forming agent and the foaming agent are added into the ceramic raw materials, and the porous ceramic with the gradient pore structure is formed through reaction at a certain temperature and pressure.
