The invention discloses a steel-UHPC composite beam adopting various PBL connecting pieces for mixed connection and a design method thereof.The steel-UHPC composite beam comprises UHPC components, an I-shaped steel beam and a plurality of cover beams, the cover beams are arranged below the I-shaped steel beam, the UHPC components are arranged on the I-shaped steel beam, and the UHPC components are arranged on the I-shaped steel beam. A plurality of PBL connecting pieces adopting NPR steel bars are arranged in the sagging moment section of the UHPC component, and a plurality of pulling-resistant non-shearing-resistant PBL connecting pieces are arranged in the hogging moment section of the UHPC component. The PBL connecting piece adopting the NPR steel bars to replace common steel bars is applied to the sagging moment section of the composite structure, the continuation capacity and the bearing capacity of the composite structure are enhanced, and the structural integrity and the structural stability are improved. The tensile stress of the hogging moment section of the combined structure is effectively released, and the using performance, the long-term performance and the durability of the combined structure are remarkably improved.
