The invention relates to a preparation method of an anti-oxidation fireproof coating for the surface of a silicon carbide product, which can be used for relieving the oxidation problem of the silicon carbide product. The coating comprises the following components in parts by weight: 75-85 parts of partially-stabilized zirconia fine powder, 10-15 parts of partially-stabilized zirconia particles and 5-10 parts of magnesium aluminate spinel fine powder; in addition, 50-60 parts of a binding agent, 0.1-0.4 part of an additive and 0.05-0.2 part of a thickening leveling agent are also added into the fireproof coating. The materials are ball-milled and uniformly mixed to obtain refractory slurry, and the refractory slurry is uniformly coated on the SiC product, naturally aired, dried at 110 DEG C and subjected to high-temperature treatment to obtain the refractory coating for the surface of the SiC product, which is high in bonding strength and stable in performance. Compared with the coating in the prior art, the prepared coating has the characteristics of high bonding strength, high temperature resistance, good thermal shock resistance and the like.
