The invention discloses a movable cornice construction operation platform which comprises a control device, a driving device, an upper walking mechanism sliding way, an upper walking frame structure, a connecting stand column structure and a lower operation platform. The upper walking frame structure is integrally and detachably arranged on the inner side of the upper portion of the connecting stand column structure and comprises at least one frame unit with an opening in the lower end. The lower end of the frame unit with an opening in the lower end is inserted into a vertical groove and a horizontal groove of the sloping roof cornice plate and is erected in an upper traveling mechanism slideway arranged in the vertical groove and the horizontal groove; the lower operating platform is integrally and detachably arranged on the inner side of the lower part of the connecting upright post structure; the driving device drives the upper walking frame structure to slide in the upper walking mechanism slide way; the control device controls starting and stopping of the driving device. The invention further discloses a corresponding construction method which has the advantages of being good in safety, flexible in size, easy to assemble and disassemble, convenient to operate and control and suitable for decoration work of the lower portions of various sloping roof cornices.
