An assembly type cornice construction method specifically comprises the following steps of S1, surveying and setting out, S2, dividing keels in the length direction of a cornice body according to the cornice surveying and setting out condition, S3, arranging a machining area on the site ground, machining a single-frame framework in the machining area according to the design in the step S2, and then according to the maximum lifting capacity of a tower crane, conducting construction on the single-frame framework according to the design in the step S2. Processing a plurality of single-frame frameworks into a small-frame unit according to a drawing; s3, aluminum plate processing; s5, the aluminum plate is installed at the design position of one small unit according to a drawing; s6, the one-truss small unit is hoisted, and the one-truss small unit is hoisted to the installed steel support on the roof steel frame; s7, connecting the small unit with the steel support after re-checking; and S8, the step S6 and the step S7 are repeated, and the multiple single-truss small units are hoisted and mutually connected to form the cornice main body. According to the method, the ground machining quality and precision are better, and the safety and the construction speed are high when a full framing is not needed and an ultra-high cornice is installed in a hoisting installation mode.
