An assembly type steel mold adjusting device suitable for a pier column comprises a steel mold plate, a back plate, an adjuster and a supporting ridge. The steel formwork is arranged to be of a cylindrical structure used for supporting pier column concrete, and a plurality of rows of movable columns are arranged on the back face of the steel formwork at intervals. The back plates are arranged on the back face of the steel formwork in a side-by-side spliced mode and connected with the movable columns in a vertical sliding mode. The adjustor is arranged at the upper part of the back plate and is used for driving the steel template to lift and move upwards; the supporting ridges are longitudinally arranged on the back face of the back plate side by side. The height difference between the pier column standard section and the multiple longitudinally-spliced steel formworks is adjusted and compensated by controlling the steel formworks to be lifted upwards through the adjustor. An assembly type adjusting steel mold technology is adopted, the problem that a refined steel mold needs to be customized continuously due to large height changes during construction of a traditional pier column standard section is solved, the technology can adjust the height of the steel mold so as to adapt to pier columns with different heights, the steps of deepening and machining a steel mold adjusting section again are reduced, and construction is convenient and fast.
