The invention belongs to the technical field of tail water coolers, and particularly relates to a circulating tail water channel cooler which comprises a cooler body mainly used for cooling water in a tail water channel. The device further comprises a protection mechanism. The protection mechanism comprises side plates, and the side plates are fixed to the two sides of the cooler body through bolts. The concentric-square-shaped plates are fixedly mounted on the sides, close to the cooler body, of the top end faces of the two side plates; the first sliding blocks are connected into the concentric-square-shaped plates in a sliding mode; the first rotating rods are arranged on the opposite sides of the two concentric-square-shaped plates; the second rotating rods are arranged on the opposite sides of the two side plates; the conveyor belt is arranged on the first rotating rod and the second rotating rod; the cooler is mainly used for solving the problem that when garbage, branches or leaves and other sundries pass through the cooler, part of the sundries can block the cooler, and therefore the cooling effect of the cooler on water flow is reduced.
