The invention relates to an aerated concrete plate and a preparation process thereof. The aerated concrete plate comprises the following components: a solid waste material, cement, lime, a foaming agent, a water reducing agent, a toughening agent and toughening short fibers, wherein the toughening short fibers are densely distributed on the surface layer of the aerated concrete plate in a net shape. According to the method, the limiting layer composed of the toughened short fibers is attached to the inner surface of the mold in advance before mold pouring, so that after pouring is completed, the toughened short fibers can be fully fused with concrete slurry, and the toughened short fibers are attached to the surface layer of a slab after the concrete slurry is completely solidified into the slab; the toughened short fiber can greatly improve the surface toughness and strength of the plate blank, is beneficial to reducing the damage of corners and edges of the plate blank in the demolding and cutting processes, and is beneficial to improving the product quality of the aerated concrete plate; the product contains the flexibilizer, so that the anti-shearing performance of the product can be obviously improved.
