The invention provides an autoclaved aerated concrete plate and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of novel building materials. The autoclaved aerated concrete plate is prepared from the following substances in percentage by mass: 6 to 10 percent of cement, 9 to 15 percent of lime, 65 to 79 percent of fly ash, 6 to 10 percent of gypsum, 0.07 to 0.12 percent of aluminum powder and 0.2 to 1 percent of modified fiber, wherein the modified fibers are obtained by performing modification treatment on fibers by using a temperature-sensitive polymer. According to the autoclaved aerated concrete plate disclosed by the invention, the modified fibers subjected to modification treatment are adopted, so that the effect of a fiber material in the autoclaved aerated concrete plate is improved, and the compressive strength and breaking strength of the autoclaved aerated concrete plate are effectively improved.
