The porous ceramic is prepared from raw materials including a component a, a foaming agent and water, the component a comprises 40 wt%-80 wt% of ceramic powder; 1 wt%-20 wt% of short fibers; 15 wt% to 35 wt% of ceramic precursor resin; 1 wt%-5 wt% of a catalyst; in the component a, the sum of the contents of the components is 100%, and the foaming agent comprises a surfactant, a binder and a dispersant. The short fiber composite nanowire multi-stage reinforced porous ceramic prepared by the method is uniform in pore size, uniform in pore distribution and high in mechanical strength.
