The water permeable brick comprises a bottom layer and a surface layer, wherein the bottom layer is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 0.05 to 5 parts of cement I, 1 to 15 parts of recycled aggregate, 0.001 to 0.02 part of a water reducing agent I, 0.002 to 0.5 part of a shrinkage reducing agent, 0.001 to 0.05 part of a soil curing agent and 0.001 to 0.05 part of an exciting agent; and the surface layer is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0.5-2 parts of cement II, 1-10 parts of fine aggregate and 0.0005-0.01 part of a water reducing agent II. The water permeable brick disclosed by the invention has relatively high splitting tensile strength and breaking strength, can realize resource utilization of recycled aggregate, has the characteristics of low cost and good water permeability, and has a very good application prospect in the field of building materials.
