The invention discloses a method for simultaneously preparing silicon dioxide aerogel and a carbon-coated silicon dioxide aerogel material, and belongs to the field of ceramic aerogel materials.The preparation method comprises the steps that 1, a spinnable raw material mixed solution is prepared, 2, a precursor is prepared, 3, the precursor is sintered, respectively putting into two hearths for sintering, and introducing dense smoke containing carbides generated by sintering in the first hearth into the second hearth; the mass ratio of the first precursor to the second precursor is greater than or equal to 3. The preparation process is simple, the production cost is low, the carbon emission is low, and the obtained aerogel product is a flexible ceramic material with the characteristics of good thermal stability, chemical stability, high porosity, low density, high liquid absorption rate and the like.
