The preparation method of the porous ceramic atomization core comprises the steps that ceramic powder is prepared into slurry, then the slurry is prepared into a blank, and the blank is sintered to obtain the porous ceramic atomization core; wherein the ceramic powder comprises 10-50 parts by weight of aggregate, 5-20 parts by weight of glass powder and 5-20 parts by weight of a pore forming agent, the aggregate is spherical and/or sphere-like particles with the particle size of 1-20 microns, and the aggregate comprises silicon oxide and/or aluminum oxide. According to the porous ceramic atomization core and the preparation method thereof, the atomization amount of tobacco tar and the atomization efficiency of tobacco tar components can be improved, and the taste is improved.
