The invention discloses a water transport bridge floating type independent anti-collision rotating energy consumption device which comprises a rotating energy consumption unloading mechanism, a stand column, a bearing platform and a pile body, the rotating energy consumption unloading mechanism is of a concentric circle type sleeve structure formed by splicing a plurality of rotating protection units, and each rotating protection unit is defined by an outer arc plate, an inner arc plate and a pair of side plates; a plurality of damping energy dissipation blocks are arranged on the outer surface of the outer arc plate and the inner surface of the inner arc plate, an asymmetric truss structure is fixed in the rotating protection unit, and the rotating directions of transverse supporting plates of the asymmetric truss structure are the same. The device is independently arranged on the outer side of the bridge pier, and even if the whole device is impacted and damaged, the bridge pier cannot be affected at all; the asymmetric truss structure is arranged in the device, the rigidity of the whole device can be increased through the truss structure so that damage can be prevented after collision, the asymmetry can be used for converting collision force into torsion for rotation of the whole device, and rotation of the whole device is achieved.
