A span widening transformation method for a reinforced concrete frame structure comprises the steps that firstly, the ground on one side of a span is excavated to the bottom face of a foundation; secondly, an independent foundation under a new column is additionally arranged on the outer side of the corridor; 3, extending an original foundation beam of the independent foundation under the original column, and additionally arranging a new foundation beam and a new bottom floor slab; fourthly, four sets of first vertical supporting mechanisms are erected on the lower portion of the original cantilever beam of each layer; fifthly, a pouring formwork of the newly-added beam and a pouring formwork of the newly-added plate are erected; sixthly, newly-added beam steel bars are bound; seventhly, a square steel plate is embedded in the contact face of the original cantilever beam and the cantilever beam extension beam to serve as a shear key; 8, newly-added plate steel bars are bound; ninthly, newly-added column steel bars are bound; tenthly, a newly-added column formwork is erected, and newly-added beam plate column concrete is poured; and 11, after the concrete is cured to the design strength, the formwork is dismantled, and the supports are removed. According to the method, the original building is widened through span widening, more use space can be provided, and the functional requirements of the building can be met.
