The invention provides a control method and device for an electric side door of a vehicle, the vehicle and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps that abnormal stress of a vehicle door in the door opening/closing process is monitored, and the abnormal stress represents stress except for preset standard opening/closing driving force; and if abnormal stress is monitored, an electric door opening/closing mode is started. When the abnormal stress of the vehicle door is monitored, the electric door opening/closing mode is started, the vehicle door is automatically opened or closed, and the influence of the abnormal stress can be reduced through the driving force of the electric side door opening motor; the electric side-opening door is prevented from impacting a vehicle door limiting position at a too high speed after being subjected to external force, and the mechanical structure of the electric side-opening door is prevented from being damaged.
