The invention belongs to the technical field of building materials, and particularly discloses an antibacterial material and application of the antibacterial material in quartz stone planes.The antibacterial material is prepared from, by mass, 5-10 parts of mercaptopropyl modified Wulan tea spar, 5-12 parts of hydrolyzed chitosan, 10-18 parts of vinyl modified graphene oxide, 0.5-3 parts of triethylamine and 50-80 parts of absolute ethyl alcohol. The antibacterial material disclosed by the invention has excellent antibacterial property and wear resistance, and can be used for remarkably improving the antibacterial property and wear resistance of a quartz stone plate when being applied to preparation of the quartz stone plate.
