The installation method comprises the steps that 1, the frog base plate comprises a common base plate and the bridge type base plate; the frog base plates are placed on the assembling platform according to the sequence number marks of the frog base plates and the installation sequence of the opening and arrangement diagrams, and the distance between every two adjacent frog base plates is 600 mm; 2, rubber base plates are sequentially placed on the upper surface of the frog base plate according to the sequence requirement of a drawing; 3, the bare forks without the frog base plates are placed on the rubber base plates through a shipping device; 4, a gap between a frog base plate iron base and a frog rail toe is checked and adjusted, and it is guaranteed that the gauge blocks have enough installation space; 5, the gauge blocks are installed; and 6, T-shaped bolts are installed. The technical problems of how to mount the frog base plate and how to improve the strength and rigidity of the bridge type base plate so as to prolong the service life of the frog are solved; the rigidity and the strength of the bridge type base plate are improved by about 20%; and the service life of the frog is prolonged by 20-30%.
