The bridge pier protection structure comprises a plurality of pipe fittings which are evenly arranged in the circumferential direction of a bridge pier at intervals; the UHPC layer is arranged around the peripheries of the pipe fittings, a gap exists between the UHPC layer and the pier, the UHPC layer comprises a plurality of UHPC components, the two ends of each UHPC component are provided with arc-shaped faces respectively, the UHPC components are sequentially spliced, the adjacent UHPC components are spliced to form arc-shaped grooves used for limiting the pipe fittings, and the pipe fittings are rotationally arranged in the arc-shaped grooves respectively. The periphery of the UHPC layer is wrapped with the anti-corrosion sleeve, so that the UHPC layer, the pipe fitting and the pier are sequentially and tightly connected in an abutting mode, and the UHPC layer and the anti-corrosion sleeve can rotate relative to the pier.
