The invention relates to the technical field of construction, in particular to a construction method of an impervious concrete horizontal construction joint, which comprises the following steps: pouring lower-layer three-graded concrete; chiseling or flushing on the horizontal plane; pouring second-grade rich slurry concrete for 3d-5d, wherein the strength grade of the second-grade rich slurry concrete is the same as that of the third-grade concrete; and pouring the upper-layer three-graded concrete. According to the method, the second-level mixed slurry-rich concrete is poured at the horizontal construction joint of the three-level mixed concrete which is poured in a layered mode, pores of the three-level mixed concrete on the lower layer are filled and compacted, and therefore the anti-seepage grade of the horizontal construction joint reaches the W5 grade, the three-level mixed concrete on the upper layer is poured together with the second-level mixed slurry-rich concrete, boundaries of the two are mutually fused, and the anti-seepage performance of the horizontal construction joint is improved. The concrete can be regarded as integral concrete, the anti-permeability grade can reach the W6 grade of a concrete body, it means that the anti-permeability grade of the concrete poured in a layered mode is at least the W5 grade and is far higher than the W1 grade of the concrete poured on the lower-layer three-graded concrete directly, and the anti-permeability performance of the horizontal construction joint is improved.
