The invention discloses a core-shell moisture absorption salt auxiliary air water taking material and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of adsorbent auxiliary water taking. The material structurally consists of a core material and a shell layer coated on the surface of the core material, the core material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 31.2-56.5 parts of moisture absorption salt and 31.2-37.6 parts of a matrix material, and the moisture absorption salt is dispersed in a pore structure of the matrix material; the shell layer is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 0.25-1 part of coal tar and 1 part of dichloromethane; and the carbon content in the shell layer is 5.9%-22%. Drying the matrix material particles; preparing a moisture absorption salt solution; soaking the dried matrix material in a moisture absorption salt solution, filtering, and drying to obtain a core material; 3, preparing a liquid carbon precursor; and 4, mixing and stirring the core material and a liquid carbon precursor, filtering out redundant liquid, drying the solid, putting the solid into a tubular furnace, introducing N2 airflow, heating for 2-4 hours, and cooling to obtain the core-shell moisture absorption salt assisted air-to-water material. The material disclosed by the invention has relatively good cyclic adsorption-desorption performance.
