The invention provides a treatment method of electrolytic manganese residues. The method comprises the following steps that electrolytic manganese residues and a modifier are subjected to sealed stirring and negative pressure suction, modified manganese residues and first flue gas are obtained, and the first flue gas is used for preparing an ammonia water solution; the modified manganese slag and a flux are mixed for oxidation smelting, first molten slag and second flue gas are obtained, and the second flue gas is used for preparing concentrated sulfuric acid; mixing the first slag with a reducing agent and an adjusting agent for reduction smelting to obtain second slag, third flue gas and reduced metal liquid, and adding a desulfurization and dephosphorization agent into the reduced metal liquid for desulfurization and dephosphorization to obtain desulfurized and dephosphorized metal liquid; and quenching and curing the second slag to obtain glass slag, mixing the glass slag with an exciting agent, and grinding to obtain the active micro powder. According to the method, multiple sulfur-containing multi-metal solid wastes in the electrolytic manganese residues can be cooperatively treated, ammonia, sulfur and valuable metal resources in the manganese residues are fully recycled, comprehensive utilization of all solid wastes in the whole process is achieved, and the social and economic benefits are large.
