Raw materials for preparing the calcium oxide ceramic core comprise a plasticizer and calcium oxide powder formed by different particle size grading. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing the calcium oxide powder, preparing the plasticizer, mixing, pressing, sintering the core, dipping, sealing holes and re-sintering. The calcium oxide-based ceramic core prepared by the invention has the advantages of low sintering shrinkage rate, good dimensional precision, smooth surface, simple preparation process and low cost, and is especially suitable for industrial production. Pores in the surface of the calcium oxide mold core are filled with yttrium oxide, and a Y2O3 film is formed on the outer surface.
