The invention discloses a method for removing ice and snow on an arched shed structure based on inhaul cables. The method comprises the following steps that 1, the inhaul cables and loading equipment are erected; 2, recording the original position of the upper connection node; 3, searching the natural vibration frequency of the structure; 4, ice and snow removal loading is carried out based on the natural vibration frequency of the structure; and 5, the ice and snow removal operation is completed, and loading is stopped after the set action time is reached, or loading is manually stopped. The device can efficiently remove ice and snow covering the arched shed structure, and is small in occupied area, rapid, safe and low in cost.
