The invention discloses an asphalt pavement strain monitoring device based on optical fiber microbend loss, which comprises a circular gasket 1, a compression cylinder 2 is arranged at the center of the lower end of the circular gasket 1, a part of the lower end of the compression cylinder 2 is inserted into a sleeve 3, the sleeve 3 sleeves the compression cylinder 2, a vertical column 4 is arranged in the compression cylinder 2, and a spring 5 sleeves the outer end of the vertical column 4. A tightly-wrapped single-mode optical fiber 6 is pasted on the outer surface of a spring wire of the spring 5, the bottom end of the sleeve 3 is fixedly connected with a base 7, and screws 8 are arranged at four hole positions of the base 7. Correspondingly, the invention further provides a using method of the asphalt pavement strain monitoring device based on the optical fiber microbend loss. The problem that roadbed pavement settlement change is difficult to monitor can be solved, and the device is simple in structure, high in precision and convenient to popularize.
