The embodiment of the invention provides a water surface cleaning robot. The water surface cleaning robot comprises a robot body, a garbage recycling basket detachably fixed in the robot body and a flip cover assembly capable of rotating relative to the robot body. A garbage inlet is formed in the garbage recycling basket; the robot body comprises: a housing assembly; the shell assembly is provided with a first side and a second side which are opposite; the walking assembly is arranged on the first side of the shell assembly; the side brush assembly is assembled on the second side of the shell assembly; at least one part of the power assembly is arranged on the shell assembly, and the power assembly is used for providing a power source for driving the walking assembly to move; a bucket; one end of the bucket is connected to the garbage recycling basket and is flush with the bottom end of the garbage inlet; the other end of the bucket extends in the direction close to the first side and is lower than the bottom end of the garbage inlet. The garbage cleaning device can effectively clean garbage at dead angle positions such as a side position and a waterline position, and also can clean garbage suspended below a garbage inlet, so that the cleaning effect is improved.
