Unfired ceramsite and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses unfired ceramsite and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of building materials. The unfired ceramsite is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 20 to 50 parts of limestone powder, 50 to 80 parts of industrial byproduct gypsum, 0.1 to 0.4 part of gypsum retarder, 0.5 to 1.75 parts of acid and 25 to 35 parts of water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, uniformly mixing the limestone powder, the industrial byproduct gypsum and the gypsum retarder to obtain mixed powder; s2, adding acid into water, and uniformly mixing to obtain an acid solution; s3, adding an acid solution into the mixed powder, uniformly stirring, and granulating to obtain spherical particles; s4, maintaining the spherical particles for 1 day; and S5, drying the cured spherical particles to obtain the product. The method can synergistically solve the problem of low utilization rate of limestone powder and industrial byproduct gypsum, realizes reutilization of solid waste resources, innovates a resource utilization approach, and improves the additional value of the resources.
