The vehicle door control method comprises the steps that a coordinate system is established; calculating a vehicle door opening track function; acquiring coordinates of an obstacle outside the vehicle; calculating coordinates of intersection points of the vehicle door opening track function and obstacles outside the vehicle; calculating an opening angle when the vehicle door collides with an obstacle outside the vehicle according to the intersection point coordinates; determining the maximum opening angle of the vehicle door according to the opening angle when the vehicle door collides with the obstacle outside the vehicle; the vehicle door opening angle is controlled to be not larger than the vehicle door maximum opening angle, and the vehicle door opening resistance and the vehicle door opening angle are controlled to be in positive correlation. Therefore, on the premise that collision prevention of the vehicle door can be achieved, a user can directly sense the position of the maximum opening angle through the opening resistance when opening the vehicle door, and therefore the use experience of the user is improved, and the safety performance of the vehicle is improved.
