The invention discloses construction equipment and a construction method for a slope asphalt concrete face rockfill dam. The construction equipment comprises a first track beam, a second track beam, a truss, a winch and a vibration roller, the first track beam is arranged at the lower position of the rock-fill dam; the first track beam is arranged at the upper position of the rock-fill dam; the truss comprises a frame body, mounting seats and rollers, two ends of the frame body are fixedly connected with the mounting seats, and the rollers are mounted on the lower portions of the mounting seats; rollers at two ends of the truss are arranged in the track beams; the winch is mounted at the upper end of the truss; the vibrating roller is arranged below the truss and connected with a pull rope of the winch, and the construction method of the slope asphalt concrete face rockfill dam is completed through the construction equipment. According to the method, the winch is used for supporting the vibration roller, operation of a driver is not needed, and the personnel safety risk caused when the driver drives equipment on the rockfill slope is avoided; the whole construction process is higher in mechanization degree and higher in safety, and personnel investment is reduced.
