The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to a construction method for constructing a basement through a reverse construction method. The method mainly comprises the steps that according to construction drawings and construction requirements, marking and partitioning are conducted on a foundation pit to be excavated, a construction area is divided into a reverse construction area and a consequent construction area, then according to the divided reverse construction area and consequent construction area, foundation pit excavation and basement structure beam and slab construction of the consequent construction area are conducted firstly, and construction of the consequent construction area is completed; a pit separation pile is constructed between the forward construction area and the reverse construction area for separation; after the sequential construction area construction is completed, the reverse construction area construction is started; during construction of a reverse construction area, excavating earthwork layer by layer and pouring a structural floor slab by adopting a reverse construction method until pouring of a basement bottom plate is completed; when earthwork is excavated, a first soil taking opening is formed in the top of the reverse construction area, lateral soil outlets are formed in the pit dividing piles towards the sequential construction area layer by layer, and soil cutting, soil discharging and construction material transportation operation are conducted at the first soil taking opening and the lateral soil outlets through machines. The construction cost is low, and the earth cutting speed of the reverse construction area can be greatly increased.
