The invention provides a high-strength water-resistant rock wool ardealite wallboard and a preparation method thereof, the wallboard comprises an ardealite board and rock wool, the ardealite board is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-60 parts of ardealite, 20-30 parts of quick lime, 5-10 parts of modified solid epoxy resin and 0.01-0.1 part of a retarder, and the addition amount of water is 1.5 times of the total amount of the quick lime and the ardealite; the modified solid epoxy resin is powder prepared by blending and extruding 100 parts of a solid epoxy resin E20 or MPES-904 raw material, 20-30 parts of an anhydride curing agent, 1-3 parts of an imidazole curing agent and 3-5 parts of an amphoteric active agent; the anhydride curing agent is phthalic anhydride or tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, the imidazole curing agent is dimethylimidazole, and the amphoteric active agent is sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate; and the retarder is citric acid, sodium tripolyphosphate or sodium hexametaphosphate. According to the method, the powder raw materials are good in dispersity, so that the prepared wallboard is high in strength and good in water resistance.
