The invention relates to the technical field of power generation equipment, and discloses a cooling tower which comprises a central stand column, a cooling tower body and a cooling tower body. The plurality of closed truss frames are arranged at intervals along the height direction of the cooling tower, and the central upright post is positioned at the central position of the truss frames; the plurality of cable discs are correspondingly connected between the plurality of truss frames and the central upright post, each cable disc comprises a plurality of groups of inhaul cables which are radially distributed relative to the central upright post, and two ends of each group of inhaul cables are respectively connected between the central upright post and the truss frames in a tensioning manner. Compared with an existing cooling tower structural form, the cooling tower has the advantages of being few in component, high in construction speed, high in structural bearing capacity, high in stability, high in shaking resistance and the like, the design requirement of an ultra-large cooling tower can be met, and the problems that an existing steel structure cooling tower is low in bearing capacity, low in structural rigidity, poor in stability and the like are effectively solved. The vibration caused by wind load is very prominent, and the design requirement of an ultra-large cooling tower cannot be met.
