A speed reduction limiting device of a roller shutter comprises a limiting speed reduction sleeve, a limiting speed reduction elastic piece arranged on one side of the limiting speed reduction sleeve in a sleeved mode, a rotating device for fixing the other side of the limiting speed reduction elastic piece, and a limiting rotating body which is clamped with the rotating device and drives the rotating device to rotate and displace. The limiting rotating body and the rotating device rotate and move through the fixing shaft piece, and the fixing shaft piece is fixed to the interior of the limiting speed reduction sleeve. Through the fixing shaft piece, when a roller shutter is about to be rolled to an upper limit, the limiting rotating body rotates to be clamped with the rotating device and drives the rotating device to rotate and displace, and then the rotating device drives the limiting speed-reducing elastic piece fixedly connected with the rotating device to be in a torsion state; therefore, when the roller shutter is rolled up to the upper limit, a buffering and speed reducing effect is instantly generated to reduce impact force and noise.
