The invention discloses an aluminum silicon carbide material and a preparation method thereof, and the method comprises the following steps: mixing primary particles, secondary particles, silicon fine powder, borosilicate fine powder and paraffin to obtain a material W1; granulating the material W1 to obtain a material W2; performing cold press molding and high-temperature sintering on the material W2 to obtain a ceramic preform D1; molten metal obtained after aluminum alloy hardening and tempering is infiltrated into the ceramic prefabricated body D1 through vacuum pressure, and a casting D2 is obtained; and the casting D2 is placed in a vacuum heat treatment furnace, heated and subjected to heat preservation in a vacuum state and then placed in a constant-temperature water tank to be evenly cooled, and the aluminum silicon carbide material D3 with the interface mechanical property stably enhanced is obtained. According to the invention, the mechanical property of the aluminum silicon carbide material can be obviously and stably improved, and the thermal adaptation cycle life of the aluminum silicon carbide material substrate in the working state of an integrated circuit, an electronic component and a precise instrument is prolonged.
