The invention relates to a SiCf/SiC ceramic-based composite material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a SiC fiber woven body; depositing an interface layer on the surface of the SiC fiber woven body by adopting a chemical vapor deposition method; siC powder, a sintering aid, a dispersing agent, a binder, a plasticizer and a solvent are mixed to prepare SiC dipping slurry; immersing the SiC fiber woven body deposited with the interface layer into the SiC dipping slurry, taking out the SiC fiber woven body, and drying and hot-rolling the SiC fiber woven body to obtain a SiC pre-impregnated sheet; cutting the SiC prepreg sheet, and performing lamination and low-temperature pressure-assisted sintering to obtain a SiCf/SiC preform; the SiCf/SiC prefabricated body is immersed in the SiC precursor solution for dipping; carrying out high-temperature curing and cracking on the impregnated SiCf/SiC prefabricated body; and repeating the steps of dipping, curing and cracking until the weight gain of the SiCf/SiC composite material is less than 1%, thereby obtaining the SiCf/SiC ceramic-based composite material.
