The invention provides a titanium boride composite ceramic material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing a phenolic resin-absolute ethyl alcohol solution; s2, TiB2 powder and Ni powder are sequentially added into a phenolic resin-absolute ethyl alcohol solution and stirred; S3, the first mixed material is poured into a ball milling tank to be mixed, and a second mixed material is obtained; s4, collecting the second mixed material, performing water bath heating and stirring, and drying to obtain a third mixed material; s5, grinding, sieving and granulating the third mixture to obtain mixed powder; s6, carrying out compression molding on the mixed powder to obtain a plurality of first green bodies; s7, carbonizing the first green body to obtain a plurality of second green bodies; s8, uniformly smearing the first mixed liquid on the inner wall and the outer wall of the graphite crucible, and airing; and S9, putting the second green bodies into a graphite crucible at equal intervals, uniformly covering a plurality of second green bodies with pure silicon, putting the graphite crucible into a furnace for vacuum infiltration, and finally cooling to obtain the titanium boride ceramic composite material.
