The invention relates to a river channel slope protection structure, in particular to a blocking device with a flood situation relieving function for a temporary river channel slope protection. A blocking mechanism is supported on a supporting shaft (17) through an n-shaped clamping frame (13); the product of the force arm of the supporting rod (2) on one side of the plugging box (3) and the weight of the plugging box is equal to the product of the force arm of the supporting rod on one side of the water tank (7) and the weight of the water tank, so that the supporting rod is in a horizontal state; the blocking box arranged on the side, where the short force arm is formed, of the supporting rod located on one side of the supporting shaft is arranged in a river channel protection slope where sandbags are stacked to form a blocking block, and the water tank arranged on the side, where the long force arm is formed, of the supporting rod located on the other side of the supporting shaft enables the supporting rod to form a lever structure with the supporting shaft as a fulcrum to keep balance. When the flood entering the water tank reaches a certain amount, the blocking box is lifted up, a breach appears on the temporary slope protection, and the purposes of automatically discharging flood and effectively guaranteeing life and property safety under the crisis condition when the flood comes are achieved.
