The invention discloses an assembly type arch rib welding platform and an assembly and disassembly method thereof, the arch rib welding platform is composed of a left platform assembly and a right platform assembly which are detachably connected, and the left platform assembly and the right platform assembly are of symmetrical frame structures; an upper-layer platform and a lower-layer platform are arranged on the upper portion and the lower portion of the arch rib welding platform respectively, an arch rib welding lower opening through which an arch rib section can obliquely penetrate is formed below the upper-layer platform, an arch rib welding upper opening through which the arch rib section can obliquely penetrate is formed above the lower-layer platform, and a notch is formed in the upper portion of the arch rib welding upper opening; the upper-layer platform, the lower-layer platform, the arch rib welding upper opening and the arch rib welding lower opening stretch across the left platform assembly and the right platform assembly; the supporting rod is located above the arch rib welding upper opening and fixedly connected with the arch rib welding platform, and the supporting rod vertically extends downwards to make contact with the arch rib sections. The construction efficiency of the arch rib can be effectively improved; and the device can be recycled, so that the economical efficiency and the applicability of the device are effectively improved.
