The method comprises the following steps: step 1, paying off and positioning according to a metal roof lightning protection leading-down point arrangement diagram, and forming a hole in a roof waterproof roll according to a positioned lightning protection leading-down point to expose a steel purline; step 2, removing the heat insulation pad below the support at the lightning protection leading-down point, detachably fixing one end of the stainless steel connecting piece with the support, and welding the other end with the steel purline; 3, the repairing area is measured, the repairing waterproof coiled material is cut to cover the hole, and the repairing waterproof coiled material is connected with the roof waterproof coiled material in a sealed mode; and 4, roof panels are laid on the supports, and the roof panels are fixed through vertical lockrand. The purpose of the invention is to solve the problems that the connection quality between a connecting piece and a steel purline of an existing hidden downlead lightning protection system is unstable, and the conductive performance of the lightning protection system is easily affected.
