The environment-friendly corundum castable is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 10 to 15 percent of spodumene aggregate, 45 to 55 percent of microporous corundum aggregate, 10 to 20 percent of composite micro powder, 6.5 to 7.5 percent of water glass, 1.5 to 2 percent of glass wool steel fiber powder, 0.8 to 1.2 percent of pyrophyllite powder, 0.3 to 0.5 percent of oxidized asphalt balls and the balance of nano silicon nitride particles, the preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, mixing raw materials; and S2, carrying out negative pressure pouring. According to the corundum castable prepared by the invention, the castable with relatively high slag-resistant stability is effectively improved through the composite action of the microporous corundum and the glass wool steel fiber powder, so that the service life of the corundum castable is prolonged.
