The invention discloses an amorphous environmental barrier coating as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of coatings. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, Yb2Si2O7, Al2O3 powder, a polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution, absolute ethyl alcohol and deionized water are mixed according to a certain proportion by utilizing a spray granulation method and are granulated, so that Al2O3 modified Yb2Si2O7 powder with good flowability and a relatively good high-temperature melting effect is prepared; then, an amorphous Al2O3 modified Yb2Si2O7 fully-coated outer coating (an amorphous environment barrier coating) is prepared on the surface of the carbon material embedded with the SiC inner coating by adopting a plasma spraying process, in the preparation process, additional heat treatment for eliminating thermal stress is not needed after spraying, and the coating has a mutual diffusion mechanism between the Al2O3 modified Yb2Si2O7 outer coating and a thermal growth oxide (TGO); and a small amount of SiO2 overflows in the outer coating to convert the porous Yb2SiO5 into Yb2Si2O7 again, so that the water and oxygen corrosion resistance of the outer coating is improved.
本发明公开了一种非晶环境障碍涂层及其制备方法和应用,属于涂层技术领域。本发明公开的制备方法,利用喷雾造粒法,将Yb2Si2O7、Al2O3粉、聚乙烯醇水溶液、无水乙醇、去离子水按一定比例混合并进行造粒,制备了具有良好流动性和较佳高温熔融效果的Al2O3改性Yb2Si2O7粉体;随后采用等离子喷涂工艺在包埋有SiC内涂层的碳材料表面制备非晶态的Al2O3改性Yb2Si2O7全包覆外涂层(非晶环境障碍涂层),制备过程中在喷涂后无需进行额外热处理以消除热应力,该涂层存在Al2O3改性Yb2Si2O7外涂层和热生长氧化物(TGO)之间的互扩散机制,在外涂层中少量SiO2溢出将多孔Yb2SiO5重新转化为Yb2Si2O7,提高了外涂层的抗水氧腐蚀能力。
