The invention discloses a movable heavy load platform and a longitudinal moving method thereof, and relates to the field of engineering construction.The heavy load platform comprises a platform body, at least two sets of bottom supporting mechanisms and a top pressing mechanism, the bottom supporting mechanisms are located in a ditch, and the platform body is supported to be located above the ditch; the bottom supporting mechanism comprises a plurality of supporting legs which are longitudinally arranged at intervals, the supporting legs are telescopic and slidably connected with the platform, so that when the supporting legs are supported and stand in the ditch, the platform can longitudinally move relative to the supporting legs, and when the supporting legs are suspended on the platform, the supporting legs can longitudinally move relative to the platform; the at least two sets of top pressing mechanisms are located on the road surfaces on the two sides of the ditch correspondingly and can be pressed on the platform. The bottom supporting mechanism and the top pressing and holding mechanism are matched with each other, the operation mechanism on the platform is utilized, and therefore the movable heavy-load platform can carry the operation mechanism and matched equipment to move in the longitudinal direction of a ditch, and continuous operation through the heavy-load platform can be achieved without laying rails.
