The invention relates to an excavator rotation control method and system and a controller, and the method comprises the following steps: obtaining pilot pressure P during the action period of an operation handle, and obtaining an expected rotation speed ratio n1 based on a pilot pressure interval; the rotation angular speed S of the excavator is obtained, and the real-time rotation speed ratio n2 is obtained based on the rotation angular speed interval; determining a rotation speed change limit value n3 according to the pilot pressure coefficient, the speed correction constant and the obtained real-time rotation speed ratio n2; and determining a control output speed ratio n by taking the minimum value of the expected rotation speed ratio n1 and the rotation speed change limit value n3 as a reference, converting the control output speed ratio n into a main pump displacement output ratio V, and outputting corresponding current to the main pump according to the current and displacement relation curve of the main pump.
