The invention discloses a preparation method of nano barium titanate powder, which comprises the following steps: S1, mixing a barium source solution with a poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) solution, and then mixing with a titanium source solution to obtain a mixed solution; s2, carrying out first-stage reaction on raw materials comprising an alkali solution, a poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) solution and the mixed solution in the step S1 in supergravity reaction equipment at a first rotating speed, and then carrying out second-stage reaction at a second rotating speed to obtain a solid product; the first rotating speed is lower than the second rotating speed; and S3, calcining the solid product to prepare the nano barium titanate powder. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, a two-step supergravity process is combined with a two-step adding method of the poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride), and the nano barium titanate powder with high dispersion, narrow particle size distribution, good uniformity and small particle size is prepared through cooperation of centrifugal force shearing of supergravity and the dispersion effect of the poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride).
