The invention relates to the technical field of rubber supports, and discloses a high-damping rubber support and a preparation method thereof.The high-damping rubber support comprises a fixing assembly, a supporting assembly, a damping assembly and a rubber rod, and is characterized in that the fixing assembly is located on the outer side of the supporting assembly, and the damping assembly and the rubber rod are both located in the supporting assembly; the fixing assembly comprises a mounting plate; after vulcanization is conducted through a vulcanizing machine, the first steel plate, the rubber rod and the damping assembly can be wrapped by the first rubber pad and the second rubber pad and fused with a rubber part on the outer side of the damping assembly, all the parts are reinforced through an adhesive, and therefore the integral strength of the whole device is guaranteed; friction surfaces among parts in the supporting assembly can be increased through the damping assembly, so that the friction force is improved, the damping property of the whole device is improved, and the bearing capacity of the whole device can be effectively improved through mutual superposition of multiple groups of rubber layers and multiple groups of steel plate layers.
