The invention relates to a high-altitude bailey truss and a construction method. The high-altitude bailey truss comprises a main frame body, and the upper end of the main frame body is used for erecting a formwork supporting frame; the supporting bodies are arranged at the two ends of the main frame body, and the supporting bodies are used for being arranged on a shear wall or a frame column of a building; the upper end of the supporting body abuts against the lower end of the main frame body, and the supporting body is detachably connected with the main frame body through a connecting piece. The main frame body comprises a plurality of branch frame bodies which can be connected end to end. By erecting the main frame body, the height at which the lower end of the formwork supporting frame can be placed is increased, so that the overall erecting height of the formwork main frame body is shortened, erecting of the formwork main frame body is more convenient, and in the erecting process, the vertical supporting strength of the formwork main frame body does not need to be increased any more.
