The invention discloses an electric appliance door lock which comprises a base body with a lock hole, a locking body rotatably connected in the base body, a locking mechanism linked with the locking body and an operating mechanism provided with a positioning pin, and the positioning pin can slide along a heart-shaped lock groove of the locking mechanism to be locked or unlocked under the action of the locking body, the locking mechanism and the operating mechanism. The locking body can push the positioning needle to be separated from the heart-shaped lock groove when the door is forcibly opened, the locking body and the positioning needle can be reset under the action of the forcibly opened door spring, and a gap exists between the locking body and the positioning needle. The forced door opening spring can be used for absorbing door jacking force generated when clothes are stirred so as to prevent the door lock from being easily and accidentally jacked open by the clothes, forced door opening can be achieved when the forced door opening tension exceeds the limit, and therefore using is safer, more reliable and more convenient.
